  • Hawkes Bay Regional Council commissioned SkyTEM Australia to collect SkyTEM data for 3D aquifer mapping. In February 2020, 1235 km of SkyTEM data were collected over the Poukawa and Otane Basins. Data processing was carried out by GNS Science to remove electromagnetic noise. The retained data was used to develop both smooth and sharp resistivity models for the area. The standard depth of investigation varies from 60 to 490 m for the smooth resistivity model. External Quality Control was provided by Aarhus University HydroGeophysics Group. The data is owned by Hawkes Bay regional council.
